Out of a nowhere, I was blessed with this couplet "You glow like a neon cocktail sign in a barroom/You shine like a row of teles in a guitar showroom" to convey the lure of a dangerous, superficial attraction. In my hubris, I wanted the lyrics to drive the song, and so kept it to three chords, without any of my typical musical diversions. We'll see if I pulled it off.
